Review: Sinful in Satin by Madeline Hunter

The third book in The Rarest Blooms series, Sinful in Satin by Madeline Hunter is a slow burning romance, as both lead characters are a little reticent about expressing their feelings, but if you adore romances that develop over time, and appreciate book series supported by delightful secondary characters, then this is a good book to curl up with on a lazy afternoon.

Review: Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger

Ms Weisbergeris new to me. I’ve watched the movie The Devil Wears Prada, and liked it. So, when I saw this book in the bookstore at the airport (on another business trip), I thought the book could be interesting for passing the time. Plus, this book could serve as my entry for the 2011 Reading Challenge — category To YA or Not. Of course, I’m sticking with non-YA.

Review: You’re the One That I (Don’T) Want by Alexandra Potter

I first came to know Ms Potter through her chick-lit romance, Mr Darcy and Me, which was sharply written and laugh-out-loud funny, and left me with a general good overall impression of her work. So, when I stumbled across this work of hers in a book store while waiting for my flight in the airport, I didn’t hesitate. So, here’s a quick review of this book which I read much earlier on this year, another entry for the Twenty-Eleven Challenge.
